Therapy-adjacent tools for people who love insight but hate eye contact.

Clear, practical, therapist-created education for building trust with yourself, without turning self-awareness into self-attack.

“The material in her course you guys is so good that I, (and I have not even watched the whole thing all the way through) but I have absorbed a lot of it, like, it has made it’s way into my parenting into my clinical work.

The material here, from an experienced clinician who has done a ton of work  both as a therapist and in my own work, there are so many golden nuggets in this course that change the way I think about things.  You simplify them and distill them into language that is so easy for my kid, my clients, my partner to be able to take in.  I just think the whole thing is fucking brilliant.”

What People Are Saying

“It's simple enough, yet has so much depth and you are calming and just the right amount of engaging and the colors and outdoor theme and the fire at the end! My goodness I can go and on. This is so good.”

Irma Guerrero-Ali, LMFTS on Fault Lines

“I loved the metaphors throughout. Really helped add clarity to the “assignment.” I found the fill in the blank style to be such a gentle way to “casually” begin exploring some big themes that could feel really intimidating to look at. It seemed like a gentle way to lay a foundation for more in depth work.

I found myself thinking what a great tool for early therapy; something to get insight moving and conversations flowing.”

Dr. Sarah Nett, Psy D. on Fill in the Feels

“Love how you frame this difficult work of acknowledging defenses in a kind way. Love your articulation and tone throughout - made it very captivating to listen to.

I love the mental image of the conference table and the frame of hijacking. The frame of outliers is also super helpful with perfectionism and people pleasing, especially with what they “promise.” It hit super deep and makes a lot of sense! I’m going to take that with me. I personally would love to hear about the unrealistic promises that the defenses make!

I love “staying close to yourself” - all these frameworks and the way you explain them feel like a warm hug.”

You walked away from that conversation replaying every word. You knew something went sideways. You just can't figure out how you got there again… especially when you were trying. It wasn't a communication problem. It wasn't the other person. It was something older than both of you, running the show before you even said a word. Demystifying Defenses are the three episodes dive into that.
